STAMPIN' UP! VERTICAL GREETINGS

I have hardly been in my craft room in recent weeks, as I've been busy buying a new house, and preparing my current one for sale.  Busy times!  My house is now on the market, and what happens next is largely out of my control, so it's time to hit the craft room again.

Today I have had a play with the gorgeous Vertical Greetings stamp set.  I think this is only the second time it has seen ink, but thankfully it is carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue that's out next month.

This is the colour scheme I chose to use, after deciding to cut into some of my Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper:

I've added a few glimmery touches, on this feminine birthday card.  They haven't photographed well, but there is a glimmer paper strip next to the sentiment, and three tiny glimmery butterflies, cut from Timeless Tag thinlits:

I have listed below all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  If you would like to buy any of the products from my online store (Australian customers only), just click on one of the thumbnail images to get started.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, and please send positive vibes my way, for the sale of my house!

STAMPIN' UP! BIRTHDAY BLAST

I have a habit, when I get a new die, of cutting out lots of die cuts, and hoarding them, unused.  For several months, I've had on my desk, a die-cut piece of Bermuda Bay card, with Crushed Curry die cuts behind it.

Here's what I ended up making, adding some Basic Black to the colour scheme.  The Basic Black panel behind the stars is embossed with the new Oh My Stars embossing folder, that will be available to buy from 1st June.  The gorgeous ribbon is Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron ribbon, also out 1st June.

Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I hope you're getting some "crafty" time this week!

STAMPIN' UP! FLOURISHING PHRASES FOR MOTHERS' DAY

I was short of inspiration for Mothers' Day cards this year, until I found these gorgeous cards by Kimberly Van Diepen.

Here's what I made for my mother (in purple) and mother-in-law (in yellow):

On the first card, I used some retired ribbon, from Sale-A-Bration, and on the second card I used Daffodil Delight double-stitched ribbon that will be available from 1st June.

All the current Stampin' Up! products used on these cards are listed below, at the bottom of my post.  If you'd like to purchase them from my online store, just click on one of the thumbnail images.

I have had a beautiful Mothers' Day, with both of my boys.  We went out for lunch together, then visited both of my sons' grandmothers.  A lovely family day.

Here's a photo of me, with my darling sons, taken a few nights ago at my youngest son's Presentation Ball:

Today I received these from son #1:

... and this, from my (ever-so-humble) son #2:

I hope your Mothers' Day has been special, and hope you, too, are feeling loved.
